A Mental Health Team to Support You

At Fire & Wire, we're a collective of humans who care deeply—about minds, bodies, and the spaces in between. We're a team of therapists, healers, and providers offering everything from psychotherapy and medication management to TMS, EMDR, massage, energy work, and sound baths.

Meet the Team

“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose.”

— Dr. Seuss

Michelle Chmelecki (she/ her), PMHNP-BC

Michelle is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who specializes in working with adolescents, young adults, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. She believes every young person has potential and focuses her practice on helping them thrive emotionally, socially, and academically.

Philosophy of Care
Michelle sees psychiatric medication as a helpful tool, but not always necessary or long-term. Her goal is to improve each patient’s daily functioning—whether that means doing better in school, building healthier relationships, or improving behavior at home. With consent, she collaborates with families, school staff, and other supports to build a well-rounded care plan. Michelle empowers patients to lead their own healing, offering clinical guidance and support along the way.

Training and Experience
Michelle holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in nursing from the University of Southern Maine, with over 30 years of experience in mental health care. Her extensive training includes psychopharmacology, diagnosis, crisis intervention, and a range of therapy modalities including CBT, solution-focused, and psychodynamic therapy.

She treats conditions such as ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, substance use, and personality disorders. Her clinical background spans psychiatric emergency rooms, VA hospitals, inpatient units, community mental health centers, crisis stabilization units, and outreach work with homeless and at-risk youth.

Grace Remillard (she/ her), TMS Coordinator

Grace is a certified Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Coordinator and Technician with a focus on treating adolescents and adults experiencing major depressive disorder (MDD). Since 2021, she has guided patients through TMS therapy with a calm, compassionate presence, ensuring each session feels safe, comfortable, and supportive—especially during emotionally challenging times.

TMS Treatments
TMS is a non-invasive, FDA-approved treatment primarily used for individuals with depression who haven't found relief through medication or therapy alone. It works by stimulating targeted areas of the brain involved in mood regulation, helping to reduce symptoms of depression over time. Grace works closely with patients and clinical providers to deliver personalized care throughout the treatment process.

Approach to Care
Grace is deeply committed to helping patients feel empowered and informed at every stage of treatment. She takes time to answer questions, explain procedures, and build trust, knowing that healing often begins with feeling heard and understood.

Outside of Work
When she's not in the clinic, Grace enjoys traveling with her partner, spending time with their two cats, and exploring creative outlets like crafting.

Ellie Fleming (she/ her), PMHNP-BC

With over eight years of experience in healthcare, Ellie provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and medication management for adolescents and adults dealing with a range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and trauma-related disorders.

Ellie takes a collaborative, person-centered approach to care, working closely with patients to develop treatment plans that align with their goals, values, and lived experiences. She believes in creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where individuals feel empowered to take an active role in their mental health journey.
Ellie integrates evidence-based practices with a warm, supportive style. While she offers medication management as a primary service, she also places strong emphasis on psychoeducation, lifestyle support, and coordination with therapists, families, and other providers when appropriate. Her goal is to help patients build resilience, improve daily functioning, and experience meaningful, lasting change.

Autumn Schulz (she/her), LCPC

Autumn is a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) and trauma therapist who views healing as a sacred and creative process—one she is honored to support. In her work, she offers talk therapy to help clients explore their past, develop coping skills, and create meaningful change in their lives. Recognizing that talk therapy alone isn't always enough, Autumn also offers advanced trauma-informed modalities including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). These approaches can be used individually or combined in Ketamine-Assisted EMDR to help clients break through deeply rooted negative thought patterns and emotional blocks.

Autumn has worked in the mental health field since 2005 and has been practicing as an LCPC since 2008. Her clinical experience includes supporting individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, as well as working with refugees and clients from culturally diverse backgrounds. She is certified in EMDR through EMDRIA (2023), trained in Ketamine-Assisted Therapy through the Ketamine Training Center (2024), and integrates mindfulness, somatic therapy, and a strong spiritual foundation into her work. Additionally, she holds a 200-hour Kripalu Yoga Teacher Certification (2011), further informing her holistic approach to healing, specializing in:

  • Trauma-informed therapy

  • EMDR and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy

  • Support for co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders

  • Mindfulness-based and somatic interventions

  • Culturally responsive care

Lacey Graffam (she/her), LCPC

Lacey is a trauma-informed, client-centered therapist who approaches healing through collaboration, curiosity, and deep respect for each person’s lived experience. She believes people grow best in relationships that offer safety, steadiness, and unconditional positive regard.

Her approach blends strengths-based and self-compassion-focused perspectives with mind–body interventions that support regulation and alignment with personal values. She integrates mindfulness practices, trauma-informed CBT, DBT skills, IFS-informed parts work, sensorimotor and somatic techniques, and psycho education.

She has been in private practice since 2018 and currently offers telehealth only. She specializes in PTSD and trauma-related concerns, while also working with mood and anxiety disorders, neurodivergence, and the impact of chronic stress. Her goal is to create a space where you can reconnect with your body’s wisdom, access regulation, and move toward a life that feels grounded, intentional, and aligned.

Edie Forbes (she/her), Intern LCPC

Edie believes that everyone can benefit from counseling. If you are searching for a counselor, experiencing conflict in your relationships, conflict with yourself, or facing a transition. Her goal is to offer an environment where you can ask questions, speak freely, and take time to reflect on your life—what is going right and what you hope to improve.

She believes the past needs to be examined so that you can move forward. While it is not necessary to rehash every detail from childhood, she finds that people can sometimes get stuck in maladaptive patterns that stem from their earliest experiences. The famous Socrates quote, “An unexamined life is not worth living,” deeply resonates with her in this regard. She invites clients to explore their unique perspectives, how they view the world and why, what gives their lives meaning, and how they can create the most authentic and joyous life possible.

Edie works with adults ages 18 and older, as well as couples and is welcome to all relationship configurations, whether romantic or not.

Although not officially a “Mainer,” she has lived in Maine for over thirty years. Her professional background includes more than twenty years in social services and public health, where she worked with individuals experiencing addiction, chronic mental illness, homelessness, and HIV/AIDS. She is a proud ally of the LGBTQ+ communities. When she is not working, she is usually in the ocean swimming, paddling, or boating, walking her dog, or watching a film.

She is currently accepting clients for in-person or telehealth appointments and welcomes you to reach out to discuss whether she may be a good fit.
